Platform presentation

Medical care across borders — on one platform

Love Your Life brings patients, hospitals, doctors, pharmacies and other healthcare facilities together in one place — in the language of the people who use it.

The project

People looking for treatment often face scattered records, foreign languages and many separate contacts. Love Your Life brings these paths together on one platform: records, requests, appointments and communication with the doctor all happen in one place.

The platform is operated by BGGI GmbH in Bonn. It does not provide treatment itself — medical decisions are made solely by the treating doctors and facilities.

  • One roof for everyone involved

Patients, hospitals, doctors and care partners work in one shared system instead of through many separate channels.

  • Protection of health data

A patient's records and information about their condition are passed to doctors, hospitals or other parties only with their consent.

  • In one's own language

The platform speaks to people in their language — on the website, in messages and in the legal texts.

How the platform works

An overview in general terms — from connecting facilities to the conversation between patient and doctor.

Connecting facilities

Hospitals, pharmacies and other care partners are reviewed before the collaboration begins and then work through the same platform.

  • Hospitals and their doctors

A hospital is connected through a contact person, such as its International Office. The hospital records its doctors with their specialty and forwards cases to them; doctors of the hospital can also register themselves under their hospital.

  • Pharmacies

Pharmacies are admitted by invitation. They receive orders through the platform — with a prescription or as an enquiry —, decide themselves whether a doctor's prescription is needed and deliver via connected delivery services. They deliver abroad only for continued treatment after treatment in Germany, with a prescription from the treating doctor; the parcel is handed over only against the patient's personal code.

  • Rehabilitation and therapy

Rehabilitation facilities and practices for physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy are connected as care partners, as are medical supply stores for aids and appliances. Once approved, they answer requests through the platform. They decide themselves whether a request needs a prescription.

  • Centres for aesthetic treatments

Aesthetic centres have their own area with their own questionnaire and are reviewed separately. A medical specialist assesses every request before anything is planned.

Records and treatment

The patient's records are kept securely, are quickly at hand and reach the doctor only with the patient's consent.

  • Secure storage, fast access

Findings and reports are stored encrypted in data centres in the EU and can be accessed at any time. When a doctor takes on the case, they receive the reviewed report and the released records on the platform — without sending paper. Each record is filed in the folder of its case.

  • Nothing without consent

Without the patient's consent, their records and information about their condition go to no doctor, no hospital and no other party outside Love Your Life. The patient can name a preferred doctor; if they withdraw consent, the case is put on hold immediately.

  • The history across all cases

A patient's cases remain collected in their account together with their records. For a new case, they can link earlier cases: the doctor of the new case then also receives the records of those cases released by Love Your Life, as long as the patient's consent is in place — so the previous history is available to the doctor.

  • AI prepares the overview

An AI evaluates each document individually and summarises the case in a short report for the doctor; if earlier cases are linked, it also summarises the previous history. Love Your Life reviews every report before it is passed on. The AI serves solely to make processes easier and faster — the assessment remains with the doctor.

  • Translation right in the conversation

In the video call between patient and doctor, an AI interpreter translates right after each contribution, with voice and subtitles. On request, a human interpreter can join. In video calls, interpreters work from anywhere; only those who speak both languages are asked.

  • Messages in your own language

When patient and doctor write to each other in the case, every message also appears in the reader's language — machine-translated and marked as such. The original remains available alongside it.

Connecting people

The platform brings doctors from many countries together with patients and facilities.

  • Doctors worldwide under one roof

Doctors from any country can register. Each one is reviewed and approved before any case data becomes visible — after that, everyone works through the same platform, across national borders.

  • Staff recruitment

Professionals find institutions where they can work: nurses, therapists and other healthcare professionals create a profile, and hospitals and practices report their needs. Love Your Life matches both by profession, qualification, language and working model and releases contact details only after the proposal.

Benefit for society

When records, language and responsibilities no longer stand in the way, everyone involved gains time for what matters.

  • Patients reach the right doctor without having to obtain and send their records again and again.
  • Doctors receive well-organised cases with a reviewed report and can concentrate on the assessment.
  • Language barriers lose their weight — people are understood in their own language.
  • Hospitals, pharmacies and care partners work together through one shared channel instead of many separate ones.

Capacity and resilience

The platform is designed to grow with the number of its users and to work reliably under load.

  • It runs on cloud infrastructure in data centres in the EU that automatically adds computing units as usage grows; capacity can be extended without rebuilding.
  • The database is set up for high availability and is mirrored in a second, separate zone of the data centre.
  • New versions go live only after passing an automatic functional check — without interruption for users.
  • Limits on excessive requests protect against overload and misuse; recurring processes are retried automatically after a disruption.
  • Continuous monitoring reports errors and outages; data is backed up daily.

Security measures

Health data requires special protection. The platform is built on these measures:

  • Encryption

Every connection is encrypted, and so is stored data. Particularly sensitive information such as two-factor sign-in keys and bank details is additionally encrypted separately.

  • Data centres in the EU

The application, database and records are stored in data centres in the European Union. Access credentials are kept in a separate vault, never in the program code.

  • Rights by role

Each role sees only what it needs for its task — separated by area, case and country. No one can grant themselves additional rights.

  • Consent and withdrawal

Consent is given per purpose, recorded with its version and can be withdrawn at any time. Data access and deletion requests are available directly in the account.

  • Secure sign-in

Two-factor sign-in is available to every account. In addition, a device list for signing out individual devices and brakes against repeated failed attempts.

  • Audit trail

Actions and every retrieval of a document are logged with a timestamp. The application itself can neither change nor delete this log.

  • Checked files

Every uploaded file is checked for malware. Only common document and image formats are accepted, recognised by the file's content. Files are retrieved via personal, short-lived links.

  • Backup and recovery

The database is backed up daily and can be restored to an earlier point in time. Further backups are kept separately; recovery is tested.
